Indiana trip

Last week we took a mini-vacation (a.k.a. long weekend) to Indiana to visit with Dave's family and so Dave could play in his highschool alumni soccer game with his brother Jon. We had a great time, despite the 12 hr. drive there and back and dealing with a not-so-happy toddler who didn't like 12 hrs. in her car seat (can you blame her??) and who is also cutting 5 teeth. However, we overcame those obstacles and managed to have a great weekend. Here's a bunch of pics to prove it!

Dave and Bob grilling and yapping

Nephew Jeffery climbing on the cellar door

Ari playing with Grandma. She loved this farm set!

Dave and Grandma Jo celebrating their September birthdays

Ari and Jeffery watching Veggie Tales

Anna and Josh playing in their band

the sibs!

Ari playing at the soccer field before the game

Jon and Dave. They were on opposite teams. My husband's team creamed Jon's team!

This picture is kinda funny. Taking into account that Dave's team crushed Jon's team, here's Dave showing off his mad skills and playing hard, while Jon is on the sidelines mosying around with a cup of water. hmmm....

Something looks wrong here....what in the world are they doing??

Ari taking a nap on the way home

my husband showing off his sense of humor...

...and his desperate need for a dentist. He made me laugh!

Hey Laura! Glad to hear you had a great time in Indiana! There is nothing like being with family, too bad they live so far away. We missed you at the wedding, but had a wonderful day! It was awesome, I will have to post pics!!

The only reason our team got creamed is because our goalie was terrible... Ha!

It was great to see you guys! Great new pics of Ari
