Chocolate Party!!!

friday night was a much needed break from life. my friend janet hosted a chocolate party at her house. her 2 older sisters, julie and joanna, came and they each brought a friend, kim and jen. then there was me and ari, and our other friend from church, jenean. we were going to watch Chocolat and have lots of chocolate desserts. but first, we had a swap. we all brought items from our house that we no longer wanted and we drew numbers and took turns taking whatever we wanted. i got a few 'new' shirts and some jewelry. it was a great idea! we ended up not watching the movie because we all decided it would be more fun to play a game. so we gathered out on the screened in porch (where it was cooler) and played a fun game of Imaginif. julie won. it was a good game since most of us didn't know everyone else very well. we laughed alot! i am so glad for girl friends! ari doesn't really count as girl time. so it was very refreshing to be around fun-loving girls! i leave with some pictures. of course, i forgot to take a picture of the dessert table. kim brought a chocolate fountain. yum!! sorry i can't make you jealous. you'll have to imagine the river of liquid chocolate cascading down the tower into a pool of warm goodness.
