Country Club of Scranton

today, ari and i had the opportunity to go visit dave at work. as the title says, he works at the country club of scranton. a club where old, rich, cranky people go to waste away their days (david's take on his job).
he was very happy to have the welcome break to see us. we took ari out on one of the greens to get her picture in the grass (or lack of it!). the grass on the green is so short it's like sandpaper. soft sandpaper. it's the weirdest grass i've ever been on. ari was trying to grab it but she couldn't because there's nothing to grab! it was cute. anyway, here are the pictures from the day.

thanks so much! i am trying my hand slowly. i use picasa, a free picture editing program from google. it's super easy and has alot of options. i loved the contrast too, so i made the shadows darker and brightened the saturation. it's so much fun to try new things! i was so glad to get her toes crossing! isn't it adorable?? she's very photogenic! still waiting for the spider saga...

YES i love the crossing toes!! :) and no, i have not looked up the spiders- i can't! i'm too scared, i just don't even want to know!! i showed my roommate what you wrote about the MN spiders...and she's like "great- just what you need to hear!" HA!

Thanks for the tip about Picasa, Laura. I downloaded it and have already spent too much time playing around with it. I've had a camera since Christmas, but I need to start USING it. All my friends were always so into photography. I guess it's about time I joined in... =)
